I wanted to know if this would make a good LAN rig. PARTS LIST: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LD4Df7
It's nice and small, which makes it nice for LANning, but you chose an i%-4590, when the 4690K is only $20 more, and performs outstandingly well for it's price, as well as being unlocked, which means overclocking! If you can fit it into your budget, I would go for it.
Also, if you're planning on LANning via WiFi, you're either going to need a WiFi PCI card, or a USB dongle.
Other than that, looks great!
I don't really see the point of adding a custom cooler since you will not overclock. Stock's fine I guess...
And the 285... er... it's still worth going to 280X because their price is much lower than the 285. (There's the GTX970 mini itx versions too)
PSU a bit too OP, 500W will do, since it's a mini itx build.
Fan kind of unnecessary, since build is very small already...
