Hello all, I'm looking for some opinions on what will be my gaming PC. I would like to know if there are any performance gaining or money saving tips anyone would have. General opinions are also welcome!

Also any thoughts on the M.2 SSD? Should i go for it or stick with a traditional 2.5" drive?

The only difference between THAT m.2 and a typical SATA3 drive is the connection...PCI-e SSD's have the speed advantage but the one in your list is a SATA3 so it's merely the difference between socketing on motherboard vs. using SATA cable.

You also lose two SATA3 ports on the motherboard, proving that it's using SATA3 bandwidth, NOT PCI-e.

Something like this is what you're probably looking for... https://pcpartpicker.com/part/samsung-internal-hard-drive-mzhpu256hcgl00000

Here's a noteworthy article about the effects of using PCI-e lanes for M.2 SSD's... http://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Overview-of-M-2-SSDs-586/#PCI-Elanecomplications

Thanks for the info. Upon research i found that my motherboard supports PCI Express 2.0 x2 interface up to 10 Gb/s.

Does this look like it will be alright?
