Build works and is compatible, I'd buy a different motherboard if I were you and keyboard and case, but this build does work dude.

Any elaboration on that?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/KM9N99 You don't need a i7 for gaming, most games don't support hyperthreading and you don't need more than 8GB of ram for gaming.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GN3ZjX Better build, nicer looking (like the motherboard), I kept the RAM and CPU there in case you want those but if you tone down the CPU to a 4690k which is a great option too, and or the RAM to 8gb, this will be cheaper than your original build. Don't get the new Razer Blackwidow (2014), especially the one you picked, it doesn't even have a backlight, but the switches are made in China crap. Better than membrane, but Cherry switches are better. This case has a nice window, great cable management and a nice window to show it all off. Also you don't need a $40 internal wifi adapter, the Encore N300 I put in your build gets the job done great without drivers but if you want internal wifi adapter there are options cheaper than a $40 wifi adapter. This build is beastly though! Oh and you don't need thermal compound but it's nice to have as backup I guess, your watercooler's pump will come with thermal compound pre-applied.
