This one is more optimal, only 1 dollar over budget, and won't blow up on you(unlike that diablotek PSU you chose). PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Well the 7850K IS the 860K with the Integrated GPU. Considering that that your build features the r7 250 its better to stick with the APU for future upgradability.

Heres what I came up with:

I'm also wondering whether the integrated 250 is a 1gb or 2gb. That could make a difference between choosing a seperate cpu and gpu or keeping the 7850k

It's neither. It uses your system RAM, so you need high speed RAM.

So i took a few dollars off of your build by reducing the hdd size (really not going to need 1tb for anything) and got a motherboard with more ram slots and added another stick of 4gb ram to give a bit more strength to the cpu/gpu so it doesnt slow it down. any thoughts? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3pF4wP

I think the difference between the 500 and the 1tb drive is 5 dollars so it might not be worth it in the long run.

IIRC Thats not how APUs work. They like Fast low latency RAM. More RAM might help but I don't think you need it.

By the time you wan't to upgrade you might just completly disable the iGPU and use a Mid-end GPU.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GnJtHx How's this look? i upgraded to a faster ram which should be able to handle the gpu with ease.

Looks Ballin. Now this is more of a "Upgrade build". The 7850K is a somewhat entry level CPU with r7 250 graphics.

You'll want to upgrade as soon as your budget allows to a Mid-high end dedicated GPU. I wouldn't even worry too much about losing the iGPU.

Or maybe do this if you want a discrete card. No mail-in rebates to deal with on either build.

I would probably go with this: It has integrated graphics, fast RAM, and you could drop the SSD and be on your way to saving for a good GPU.
