Hey everyone, I'm new here but this site has been tremendously helpful in building new computer. I used to be into pc gaming way back in 2004, but i lost my (very expensive) gaming rig in a flood and gave up on pc gaming. Anyway long story short i got the pc building bug again and i wanted to get some opinions on a new build im working. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Thanks for the help TriDaTrii, ive changed some things around and went a bit overboard on this build. Tell me what you think now :D

Your parts are fine if you don't have a specific budget but you could get some cheaper ram clocked at 1600mhz instead. Because high speed ram doesn't really improve fps when playing games. Also, soundcards aren't always needed unless your motherboard has an insufficient built in sound card. Also, what kind of motherboard are you going to use?

I should mention i also own a 4k camera and plan on doing video editing on this setup. I edited the post and added the mobo in there, its an ASUS Z97-K.

To me, everything seems perfectly fine for your gaming, recording, and rendering needs. This build should also last you a solid while before being top upgrade.
