Looking to oc a g3258 and pair it with a r9 270, I have an extra evga 430w psu laying around will this be cutting it to close or should I be ok? Thank guys and merry Christmas.

It's cutting it close, but it should work. At 1.3v pentium a tend to still be pretty efficient, so even if you OC it'll work. That said, you'll have virtually no room for upgrades, and have a bad efficiency curve.

Ok thanks guys. Are the rosewill capstone psu still considered a tier 2 psu? I think I can get a new 750w unit for about 80$.

the capstone line is very reliable. You could also get an EVGA Supernova NEX 650G or 750G. Anything from a good manufacturer that's 550w or more will be perfect for this setup.

If you wanna try it, it should work, but definitely don't use it for long... That's cutting it so close its dangerous.
