I want to build a forward-compatible $600 PC to play BF3 on high settings. I will be OCing the CPU. My main concern is the GPU I chose. Any suggestions are appreciated!

At your price point you can even afford a R9 280 (equivalent to an GTX770) instead of the 660 in your build. Everything else is solid.

But would the 660 be enough for playing bf3 on ultra? I don't mind waiting for the price to drop back down to $140

According to benchmarks 28fps min and 34 for average. The fps numbers are acceptable except Racing/RPG/MOBA/FPS games. You will have a hard time locking on people.

I'm pretty sure it runs better than that, like closer to 50, as I've played BF3 on mine

Granted, I'd try to get the R9 280 over it as it's old stuff now

Go with a 280 for $150
