First PC. First Attempt

Alright guys, I've always wanted to get a gaming PC. Being somewhat tech-savvy, I opted to try and build my first one. I'm a college student on a budget, planning on buying these parts one at a time over however long it takes. I'm inexperienced in all of this, so I would greatly appreciate any feedback and suggestions you would have for me. I was trying to keep it in the 7-800 dollar range, and everything comes out to 759 (after rebates).

Instead of buying windows 8, see if your college offers free versions. If so, you could spend that extra $80 on a better GPU like the r9 280 or the 280x version.

My college doesn't offer a free version to everyone; just the engineering students, unfortunately.
