Need opinions please!

Throwing together a mostly gaming build. Going to OC at some point but not right now so no CPU cooler is on here. I realize I don't have a big 144HZ monitor on here but I think the one i've chosen should be ok to suit me. I'm interested to read what you think about the mobo. Lets hear your opinions! Thanks.

Unless they've stopped their deceptive designs like in the past, like HERE, personally not a fan of ASRock.

  • Change the ram to ripjaws X series. The ripjaws are outdated now and were made for the z68 platform or something.
  • I'd say change board to something from gigabyte/asus in that price range pref gigabyte to match your red ram sticks.
  • Change the ssd to the crucial m500 which is $10 more but is 240gb.
  • If no plans for sli downgrade psu
  • There are also other cases to consider at that price range. I personally like clean looking cases but the haf cases have amazing airflow so your choice on nice looks or airflow.

You have no cpu cooler which you need for over locking

You could run this build on 450w unless youre looking to sli in future

I would reccomend the enthoo pro over that case so you can look at your build and that case looks like a Hulk of ugliness

You could get a 240gb Ssd for that much and i woul reccomend a 1tb hard drive for the long term now some games are like 25gb

What is the refresh rate of those monitors

I put in the post I didnt have a cooler since I won't be overclocking right away. As far as the case I don't care about looking at the guts. I will take a look at the SSD again. What brand would you recommend? Monitors are 60hz I believe.

any way the mobo is nice and i think the crucial 240 or 256 is like 30 dollars more with slightly better performance

i dont know much about gaming keyboards but it seems a lot to pay for something that might give you marginally better performance
