Great price for that MB! Make sure you are up to speed with ASUS BIOS flashing with out a CPU (a feature of that board) incase you the BIOS that comes on the board does not support that CPU.

Q: Are you really buying the CPU at Microcenter? (must be purchased IN-STORE)

Not really. It can be a bit intimidating the first time.

As an alternative you can get a z97 MB and not have to worry about it or get the i5-4670k which the board will be compatible out of the box with.
