Hey guys, my friend made me a parts list shortly after my request for a parts list to be made for me.

I was just wondering how this would run for gaming (I play a lot of games with extensive AI)

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/xcpTVn I got a better cpu, had to a slightly weaker gpu, a way better psu. If you could get a copy of Windows by other means I can get a better gpu, psu and motherboard.

The 6 core processor looks nice. I forgot to mention I still want to be able to have good/great graphics settings. Also I can get windows 8.1 pro student so I can save some money there.

This one is very appealing to me. Just a few questions I have.

  1. How many USB ports are there available in this setup for peripherals (I need to be able to use 3 at all times plus 1 or 2 extra for external storage etc.)

  2. How many monitors will this support. I'm looking to get 2 monitors eventually (No need for 3, I wouldn't use them all)

If you could answer these questions then it looks like this could be the build I go with.

Awesome, one more thing I forgot to ask is about cooling. Is the in-built fans/cooling sufficient enough or will I need extra?

Would go with that second one if you can; shouldn't have to worry about that bios update from my google-fu
