Opinions before the parts are beamed in?

Hey guys, I am building a $1000 Gaming PC, this is my first build so I don't dare do water cooling, I've had other people suggest it, but no. the PC is all purpose and i'm going with the AMD because I have more cores to experiment with multi-threading in programming, and some light gaming, on this I will also be doing 3D rendering, video editing, image editing, and emulating operating systems/old consoles.

What do you guys think? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bdrkRB

Decent build, but I think it could use a few tweaks so that you can get an FX 8320, which you could use the extra two cores. This build is actually a few dollars cheaper if you buy it by tomorrow:

Also gives you more room to upgrade the RAM, which you can definitely use running VMs and editing.
