That psu is more than enough

that motherboard isn't compatible with that cpu without a bios update you need a 99 motherboard I believe

do you you have an OS and a means of connection? wireless or ethernet

not sure about your budget so cant make further recommendations if you can afford it I would get an SSD

how does this motherboard look? http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Jake11501/saved/BzJTwP

and im working on getting an OS from my girlfriends schoool she gets them for free but it still break so i have to wait a bit for that and i will be using a ethernet not wireless.

SSD im going to wait until i have everything good and running and then if i have some money left over i will put it into that

that motherboard is compatible and good.I don't know too much about AMD myself so i cant tell you how good it is however they don't seem to impact performance as such.

this seems like a better gpu for a few dollars more considering its on sale http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-r9290xdc2oc4gd5

Find a cheaper 280x. The XFX specifically was on sale for $200-$240 for a while and I know there's always cheaper 280x's for around $230. I see quality brand names at that price a lot.

But nice build.
