Advice on my PC build (Mainly for gaming) please :D

Generally, I just want a solid "future proof" PC to run current and future games smoothly without any temperature problems whether it's on low graphics or high graphics settings I don't care. Good storage space, good cooling (If it can be placed within the budget) and having a quiet PC on the side is a + Handle games with good graphics to games with a lot of action / things on one screen (Such as MMORPGs etc...)

Currently have this build in mind: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Is there any way to dumb this down to £500-600

Any more effective but cheaper hardware that can replace etc... etc..

Maybe there is a better case? I don't know.

And do I need a wireless card, sound card and an optical drive? Any recommendations for these?

Thanks.

the hyper 212 is just as good if not better

you don't have an OS

sound card is not necessary. wirless card is needed if you dont have ethernet and optical drive is down to you; do you need to read discs?

as for saving money theres not much you can do but you can buy through fubbit on amazon and ebuyer products that can save you some money

I think I have an OS already. Well I use ethernet so I guess I don't need one then? I would probably need an optical drive to install my windows 8 CD, but any recommendations on which one?

Also changed the CPU cooler.

Anyone else got any other input, would be appreciated.

I added an optical drive, as well as Windows8, but Windows 8 is marked as purchased so it won't count towards final price. I changed the PSU to accomidate the better GPU I selected. The GPU I selected is cheaper than the one you selected, but is much much better. It is also made by Sapphire which make the better AMD cards. The GPU will definetly play games on ultra settings at 60+ FPS. Also if you don't plan on overclocking, the CPU could be switched to a non K version and the stock CPU cooler can be used to save even more money.

I was wondering if that MB is popular? Why doesn't it have any reviews?

Your build says:

ompatibility Notes Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports. The NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 330mm long, but video cards over 230mm may block drive bays. Since the Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Vapor-X Video Card is 276mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.

try this case. It should have the room, and it has 2 usb 3.0 headers, but it's not a big deal if you get a case without them.
