Wondering if this is a good build for my budget? I will be playing games like Skyrim, Dead Space, Garry's Mod, GTA 4.

thermal paste is provided with hyper 212

2tb is loads for those games 1tb will be enough and its cheaper on amazon than aria as they charge for p+p

you don't have an OS and do you want wireless/ethernet

it seems good though

I know about the thermal paste, I'm just getting some just in case. I will be getting 2tb due the the fact that I will be storing ALOT of video on it as I will be creating youtube commentaries. I will be using Ethernet and I already have a copy of Windows 7 :)

It's a bit more expensive, but if you can afford it I'd go for something like this.

I believe the cooler comes with thermal paste, so no need for that.

Cheaper, faster ram.

No SSD and a less storage more reliable HDD, had to make the sacrifices there but I'd have switched it to a caviar blue even if I didn't have to make any.

More powerful gpu, hence the sacrifices.

Cheaper but still good case.

If you have any questions just ask!

Thanks for the suggested build. I'd rather stick with mine though for these reasons:

  • I need an SSD for recording gameplay. Since SSD'S allow you to record with much higher frames.
  • I still would like the 2tb harddrive for the reasons I stated before.

Plus, I was planning to eventually upgrade to that gtx 970. After I saved up a bit of money after buying my build.

Thank you though. Appreciated.
