I enabled comments on this. I am planning on building a NAS server that will hold content for Plex PC as well as DVR recordings for an HTPC. 2 other PC's will connect to it to store files and share files.

I found this neat little motherboard combo from Amazon that includes the CPU all for 80 bucks! I figure I do not need a lot of CPU power since most company branded systems use Atom or Marvell type CPUs. But did add 8GB of ram but not sure I will use ZFS as I just would like to mirror the drives for some high availablilty. I will have another NAS device at another location that will receive replicated data from this device. But I figure this would give me some room to grow if I choose and come out a little cheaper than buying a 2 or 4 bay Synology or NetGear appliance. Thoughts?
