Does this build need a CPU cooler?

... or would a couple extra case fans be sufficient? If so, does anyone know if a full size cooler like a 212 Evo will fit, or would I need to go with something more compact like a Noctua NH-L9i?

Just use the stock cooler that comes with CPU; not overclocking, so will be fine. It looks like it comes with one fan and may be able to add one more. Here is a link that give you some pics of inside:

I do recommend you change your PSU from builder series. This one is the least expensive, yet very good one I could find. Same price as one you had, just no rebate, and it is fully modular, so less cables all over.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if it would be worth the extra $10 to go from a Tier1b to a Tier1a or not. Also not completely sure what the advantages are with going from a semi-modular to a fully modular PSU.

For semi-modular, the most commonly used cables are hard wired to the PSU so it is possible some cables may be left dangling if your mobo doesn't need it.

Less cables = easier cable management
