Opinions/Critique on build?
Also do I need an aftermarket CPU fan? I don't plan on doing any Overclocking
This is a great looking build. You might be able to save a few bucks if you don't buy everything at Newegg, but probably not much. Albogaster is right about the CPU fan - you don't need one, but it will probably run a little quieter and cooler with one.
Yeah probably I just don't really want a lot of different items from different places. Especially ones I don't know anything about.
I've gotten that "loud" comment quiet a bit, is it noticeable or something not spending $35 on.
It depends on personal preference really. If you are trying to make everything as quiet as possible then it will annoy you. However if a little fan noise doesn't bother you, or if you have other components that will be just as loud anyway, you may as well leave it. You can always upgrade it later too if you want. It's a little bit of a pain but not a big deal.
Build looks solid. I would drop the CPU cooler and get a SSD, though. Maybe a Crucial MX100 128gb.
The stock cooler will work just fine.
