What does this have different then the regular z97

Z97 would be the chipset used in the MoBo, not a MoBo. The answer to your question would be a matter of what features, number of connections, slots, ports, etc. the other MoBo you're comparing it to has.

In other words, when comparing any z97 board to another z97 board the chipset will be the same but the features, arrangement of the components, number of ports, etc. will vary.

You mean the regular ASUS Z97-PRO board? The only difference there is the wifi, which the regular Z97-PRO doesn't have. In this case, you'd need to add a PCIe wifi card to get wireless internet access. However, if you have a wired LAN connection available, I wouldn't bother with the wireless at all.
