ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe and Question about SSD

Hope this is the right place for this if not please forgive.

My question is can I get a SSD Drive for this MB or is it too old?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131339

If I can get a SSD drive for it would 60 gig be enough for a boot drive or to put windows on it and use my 1TB drive for games and other stuff?

The reason I want to do this is cause when my system boots to Windows 7 its soooooo slow for some reason :( I clean up the junk,scan disk and defrag but it doesn't seem to help :( Could it be that the 1TB drive I have is not a good drive,plus when it access stuff its kinda loud not sure if that normal for the drive,its been doing it since I got it.

The 1TB drive I use is this one;

Now I still have more older drive which is 500GB that i use as a back up for files,is the 500 gb one faster?;

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148288 This one there was no noise and seemed to perform good.

Maybe I should switch them? Use the 500 gb as my main drive?

Please help :(

Barring any defects, damage... should work but your mobo/chipset is only revision 2.0.

ok cool,so would 60GB SSD or 120GB SSD be good to put windows 7 on and just use my 1TB Hd for games and stuff?

General recommended process is to install OS and running software into one partition/drive.

So I guess bad Idea to do what I was planning? was thinking to use the 60gb ssd for booting. I read some where ya could do that wasn't sure though.
