Blue/Black Z97 Motherboard

This is my first ever PC build and I have all the parts except the mobo. I know for sure I need to have a Blue/Black mobo because that is the theme I'm going for. My price range is around $100 but no more than $150. It also must be easy to overclock for a beginner and be decent quality to last a long time. I have my eye on the MSI Z97-G55 SLI. but not sure if it has good overclocking abilitys. MSI Z97-G55 If someone could help out a beginner like me to the awesome world of building your own computer that would be awesome. FULL BUILD

The build you have uses the X99 chipset, but the MSI boards you suggested use the Z97 chipset, which isn't compatible with the CPU you have. If you want an X99 board, it's going to run you a lot more than $150.

I don't know what your talking about but I know the intel core i5 is a Z97 chipset not X99.

My bad, I was looking at another thread with an X99 build and got the build from that thread confused with yours. Yes, the Z97-G55 is a good board.

There it's all blue and black. I added a CPU Cooler also, you're going to need that if you want to OC. P.s. Please give credit where it's due. :3 I spent a bit trying to come up with builds that fit into budgets. That is the build that I suggested for bcain13. Also, if you're American, this would probably be a better GPU.

This is out of my price range and I don't want to go the water cooling route. I also don't need it for an i5. Are you sure you know what y your doing?
