I currently have a 450W PSU with a GTX 760 and i5-4670k. Im upgrading to the 970 in a couple days and would rather not upgrade my PSU. Recommendations?? Thanks

that is a good psu (seasonic tier 2)... you can use it, but it would not be a good idea to overclock....

It depends on which GTX 970, the Gigabyte G1 uses as much power as a R9 290.

He still will probably be fine. Although he is cutting it close, I've seen people use GTX 780s and 780 tis on 450W units, and the GK110 chips use around ~250W under full load.

Check the watts required for PSU.
