Is it possible to find a motherboard that will run XP?

With a lot of old software and a now-dead 2005 build I'd like to find a processor/motherboard combo that will run Windows XP.

Is it possible to do this without doing an in-depth review of every board's chipset to see if there are XP drivers available for it? Thanks.

I think most motherboards do, you just have to download the XP drivers for them from what I've heard

Like the other 2 have said, most will run it.

Just FYI...Microsoft is going to discontinue support for Windows XP in less than 1 year, so you will have no updates available. I would do one of the following: #1 replace your broken parts so you can still use XP or #2 save your money up and get a newer system when you can. The least you will have to replace to run Windows 7 is your Motherboard, RAM and CPU. Hope that helps.

Thanks guys. Worse comes to worse I end up building a new Windows 7 machine.
