I need to reset and format my windows 7, but I don't have the disc for it anymore. Is there a way to do it without needing the disc?

  • For retail Windows 7 versions, ISO available for download from Microsoft.
  • For OEM versions, refer to system manufacturer's manual for options, if any.

  • For retail versions: Microsoft.
  • Requires a valid product key or it will not enable download. And it goes without saying, only the same version will be permitted to be downloaded. e.g. Windows 7 Home 32-bit product key will only allow Home 32-bit ISO.

your manufacture may have a partition reserved for your "factory" reinstall
