What is the longest GPU you have gotten to fit in a Thermaltake Core V1?

I know the specs say there isn't enough space for a HIS R9 290 ( http://pcpartpicker.com/part/his-video-card-h290qmc4gd ), but is there a chance of it fitting?

If you scroll down it tells you on the left hand side 10.04" (255mm) With Drive Cages 11.22" (285mm) Without Drive Cages, so id guess you couldn't.

Yeah, the specs say it can't, but i've read online that longer cards can fit.

Actually I take it back, sorry. If you look at builds that have used it the top build by lavins uses a 780 lightning which is almost the same length as that 290. the 780 is 0.12 inches shorter than the 290 you linked. So it might be possible.
