I was going to get this one but some of the reviews leave me worried - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CP-9020076-UK-Builder-CS550M-Semi-Modular/dp/B00GN8VTVW/ref=sr_1_18?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1438647034&sr=1-18

Cheaper the better and gold rated preferably, though let me know if bronze/gold makes little difference.

The efficiency rating mean nothing about the build quality of a PSU. This is a top of the line when it come to quality.

Efficiency doesn't mean crap besides efficiency, buying a psu based on a efficiency is a huge mistake.

these are your best options if you wanna go cheap. they are much better than the cs550.

skip the 450s, but the 550s should be good

450w is too low for this build and there is no room there at all. Nobody makes a 450w psu with high end gamer graphics cards in mind, they are designed for basic systems and are not capable of running something like a 970 consistently or safely. Using 450w on that build is going to be a very bad idea.

Thanks for your help guys. After several of you recommended XFX I looked into it and found this - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550bbefx

Let me know if it's no good.
