Very good card, okay shroud. The fans are loud even at 60%. However, temperatures are good, capping at 77 degrees Celsius in FurMark. I have overclocked to 1100 MHz and am continuing slowly.
One of the best mid-range budget cards you can buy on the market. Though I'm certain you can buy the 280x for a little bit more and get even more bang for the buck, which is what I recommend.
overclocking wise, it's okay. i got my core clock up to 1150, my memory clock to 1500 with power setting at +15. With stock that's all I could manage running at safe temps. The voltage seems impossible to unlock though. I could be wrong but from what others have been saying I'm 90% certain you cannot unlock voltages.
I will add custom liquid cooling and see how much higher I can go, in the near future.
I bought this card from a good friend who had it in a working system for a long time, and I have to say I am not disappointed whatsoever. It was a fantastic upgrade from the previous card I had in there before. Everything about it is sturdy. The plastic cover, fan blades, chipset and heat distributors are not going anywhere at all. This card vents heat out of it's own cut out spaces in the rear (where the video inputs are) which helps immensely with overall system air movement. It is a long card though, so if you intend to use it in a build pay attention to the available space your tower has. I would suggest having an intake fan on the side of your case if you use one of these as well, as it's length will make it suck up the air from the front fans and cut it off from the top of the case.. Games are nothing to this card.. Get one, and save your money by not getting the new overpriced stuff. This card can handle all games I play on ultra high HD and it wont slow down a fraction of second at full load (which I have yet to find).
This is a decent video card, and runs whatever I throw at it. The fans are getting a bit noisy, though when at full speed.
What used to be a very nice card has simply fallen behind. The card is loud without being @ 100% fan speed and does not perform well on new games. Some triple A titles like BF1 and Titanfall 2 that I have played are basically unplayable with frame rates @ or under 30.
This video card is very powerful and cost me less than 200 dollars, the gtx950 is more expensive and not worth it, this board is almost equal to a gtx 760, 256 bus, spectacular performance and me first card amd, love it .
