This was the first component I purchased. I was able to get my hands on the second batch pre-order pretty early and based the build around it once the EK water block was available.

Didn't care about the aesthetics as I knew I was going to be water cooling it. Card runs very cool (never gets over 60c during stress tests in my custom loop). I'm now running the GALAX BIOS to boost the power limit to 127% (380W). I've got it stable at +800mhz memory and +140mhz core with 127% power limit.

So, why one star off? I've got an audible coil whine from the card. This just seems like an unacceptable fault on such a premium product. I understand that coil whine is one of those random things that doesn't affect performance. But it is there and it is annoying and I can hear it when everything else is silent.

Absolutely solid. Opted for this over a 2080 for 1440p 75hz gaming because it wouldn't have to work as hard in my small case.

The RTX 2080 Ti is simply the best graphics card. I picked the founders edition because I like how it looks more than other models. Some coil whine under full load, but otherwise silent. I just wish the green LEDs could be changed.

People give it a lot of sh**, but I love it. In BFV I actually find DXR useful and for those that griped about it not being necessary, leave me puzzled. First the complaints are it adds clarity and fidelity that we'll never notice. I love the reflections that tell me there's a blaze around the corner, so my dumb tail won't run into it. Then they add DLSS which ups the framerates, but loses some fine details. Now the complaints start again, but from the same people who started you wouldn't notice the fidelity and details. The only issue I have is that this series won't be around long.
