Looks great and performs really well in benchmarks. I haven't tried overclocking yet. Supposedly, the DT version has an Nvidia chip that didn't meet FTW2 overclocking standards. We'll see. It was the best 1080 gpu for the price.

    from completed build "Gloria"

I was thinking about gettting a 1080ti but I decided to go QHD over 4k since I have always preferred more frames than resolution bump & lets face it & nicely over clocked GTX 1080 is more than enough for that resolution. The 25-35% performance increase just wasn't enough to justify another $200+ for me personally. Add to that the fact that the GPU is more than likely gonna be the first thing to get upgraded here so, I figured I'd save the coin and be more than happy with a this card, and I certainly am.
