Despite the 3.5 GB controversy, I still decided to get this card and I have not been let down yet. It runs every game I play extremely smoothly, and it also has the revised ACX 2.0 cooler design, so that's nice.

Great card for the money. Allows me to play most games at 1080p at well over 60FPS and high to ultra settings. I primarily play CSGO and HOTS. CSGO consistently stays about 144FPS at max settings, and HOTS is well above 100. The card does seem to heat up a bit more than expected (around 78-80C under absolute max gaming load) but otherwise does well. When priced well, this is still one of the best cards around. However, if buying a new video card today, one should give a serious look at the R9 390 (slightly better performance at a slightly lower price). EVGA never disappoints me with their overclocked card adaptations, this is no exception here.

Mine came stock to my house running at 1573MHz and is a close match to my friends 980 plus it runs great at 76 C at a max. Also is quite.

Fast!! For gaming at 1080p I can't imagine you'd need anything else.

Even though it is hurt by the 3.5GB controversy most of my games don't use this much memory, not even close to that number actually, and in its final glorious days I can overclock it to very high speeds thanks to its maxwell architecture. It also is very quiet, even with its fans spinning because of the revised ACX 2.0 cooler, ACX 2.0+. Perfect card for 1080p.

Very good performance for the cost. Also stays pretty cool considering it's in an unmodified Raijintek Metis.

Great performance, great temps, and great overclocking. This graphics card runs all of my games at 60 fps at close to max settings on 1080p despite having 3.5gb of real vram. Right now, the r9 390 is a better value unless you need the things specific to this card like lower power consumption, ShadowPlay, or Gamestream.

I got this Card from BestBuy which was 380$ but i Price matched it to 330$ and it runs at slightly higher speeds than other GTX 970s but I do not notice the difference since all Games run at 60 or higher FPS anyways...

actually it's a compromise between money and performance.

A great card for a high end PC. Runs just about every game at 1080p max settings.
