Bought off jet.com for 249$ and boy was it worth it! Running the I5 and this bad boy I can some any game out there.

For the price you can't go wrong with this card.

Think of this as a major upgrade from your GTX 970 FTW 2.0+.

Love the "FREEZE" mode, fans dont spin up until about 60c, quiet and good to look at. Price-Performance excellent.

GPU, I went with the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 and it handled everything I threw at it (just LoL and rocket league) Like I said earlier, I'm not going to play any high intensive game so this GPU was in the right price point for me and in my budget. It was on sale on Amazon for $249 with a $20 rebate and I had a Amazon giftcard that covered the tax so I only paid $229 for the GPU :D

The GTX 1060 is the perfect GPU for 1080p gaming in my opinion. There is no need to buy a 1070 or 1080 if you will be using a 1080p monitor. You wont see any difference anyway. I went with NVIDIA bacause I never owned an AMD graphics card and also because I like their GeForce Experience, easy to update drivers etc... Performs really amazing and is pretty silent.

Unbelievably fast card for the price ($235).

Love it. It's great. Stays very cool. 28C-35C on idle, highest on load I've seen is 67C with the Turbo fan preset on the XTREME GAMING ENGINE software for Gigabyte. It only hit 67C because I was using it at unnecessary settings in a game (SSAA on 4x or something like that). I'm able to run any game I have so far at 1080p 60FPS with Ultra settings.

For playing at 1080p, this card is great. The maximum GPU lenght allowed by the case is 267 mm, and this one fits perfectly with 223 mm while still being a full-sized GPU. Has semi-passive cooling, so fans won't spin until the card temperature gets too high.

What's there to say about the best 'budget' GPU? Not much, it works really well for the money. Oh, and the 6GB VRAM are nice for VR and such things.

This card is absolutely insane. It just is. And moving up from PS3 and Intel HD Graphics, I can tell you now, this card is absolutely PERFECT. I would SERIOUSLY recommend this card to anyone. I've managed to run some games at 4K! (At medium-high settings!) I cannot stress how good this card is for 1080P gaming.

tearing up any game I throw at it on Ultra settings. Coupled with a 144hz monitor, it doesn't disappoint
