Should have gone with an USB external drive.

Doesn't serve much purpose, but for 20$ it was worth it for my driver and windows

The LG DVD burner is solid for the money and rips CDs perfectly in Exact Audio Copy.

Cheap, dependable, and was able to load up Windows 10 Pro in no time at all. Can get a little loud, and perfect for a starting out build. However definitely recommend upgrading to a better drive. The reason the three stars is for on the website the dimensions are off, and LG could have done a lot better to make it a little tougher and not so fragile.

Does what it should do, however it sounds like it's ready to be cleared for departure from the airport when reading and writing to discs.
