It works and is sometimes faster than a wired connection. Drops are very rare in my experience.

We didn't have the option for a wired connection, so we needed a wireless connection. not a bad card. Nice and low profile. Been having some moderate issues with wifi dropping. Update: I removed this part from the system because it was causing too much issue. It turns out one of the antenna ports came detached at the board itself. It looks like a press fit, so I've forced it back in and have yet to test it.

This wifi adapter is good when works. I say this because maybe once or twice a day, I'll randomly lose connection. I get fast internet, so if this was more consistent, It would get 5 stars. Ethernet was unfortunately not an option.

Only gets me 1-2 MBPS through 3 walls and 35 feet where my mac gets 30-45. Will be buying a different one, from ASUS.
