1080p was the requirement for the monitor, though I still wanted one that I thought had good picture quality. I went with this one over some of the others I saw at Best Buy because I thought this one had more vibrant colors than the others. I know I could’ve got this for a lot cheaper elsewhere online, but I wanted to look at monitors myself and didn't want to delay building this machine after college started up again.
This was a gift and is an amazing monitor for my needs, nothing to complain about here. I only wish I had a second one.
I don't know the exact pricing of this monitor, but it was ~175 dollars give or take 5. I bought it at est buy, because I'd much rather buy that in a brick and mortar store, rather than have it shipped, just for safety. I don't have many complaints about the monitor, and the menu is pretty easy to use. However, it does have a glossy screen, which can be a little annoying, if you are watching a movie with a dark scene. However, colors pop out well, and as far as the 7ms goes, that isn't noticeable to me.
Colors look great, especially with the MSI Gaming App color settings. Had to get a DVI-D cable, but it was on sale so the price was still far less than normal.
I got these monitors for what feels like a steal. The IPS screens in these are very clear and I dont notice any ghosting at all. They do not however have vesa mounts, and had to purchase an adapter second hand.
I don't particularly like these monitors and would much prefer higher refresh rate monitors as opposed to these. The colors are vivid and bright however.
