After having this CPU Cooler for over a year and a half, I can say that it is an amazing cooler. Extremely quiet and performs on par with its bigger brother the NH-D14, while being smaller and quieter. The only issue I have found with this cooler at all is when in a dual push pull fan config, it can make an obnoxious turbulence sound at full load. It is quite noticeable even with the noise dampening adapter on and the rubber pads. Fortunately the fans never need to be running at 100% even during CPU stress testing.

Silent and cool enough for an air cooler.

Valentines gift from my girlfriend <3 Amazing CPU cooler that is super quiet.

Amazing CPU cooler! It came with rpm reducers which made it dead silent, even at load.

This is a big cooling unit! I bought this based on reviews, and it is fairly easy to install for a first timer - just wondering if i should have gotten two fans vs. the single it comes with...

Totally incredible. This thing feels more like a car-part than a computer part. Completely solid and reliable. At full load my i7-5930K has yet to reach 60 degrees C, as compared to a pretty common place 80-90 degrees on my last machine.

For all the talk about the size, I had no problem fitting this into my machine. Installation was super easy. It has high clearance so that you don't have to worry about clearing the RAM, but that didn't even end up being an issue. With the way my ASUS X99-A is configured there's actually no overlap.

Also this fan is very quiet, which is nice. Great product all around.

However, I should also mention that it is rather ugly. I really wish Noctua would just pony up for at last ONE other color option, so it doesn't look like you have a part from 1992 in your machine.

Great cooler that's amazingly quiet. The fractal fans are the noisiest in my build. You can attach a normal noctua 140 mm to it - it does stretch the clip but very secure.

Super quiet and easy to install, comes with extra brackets for intel and AMD, good quality thermal paste included to boot.

Noctua included clear instructions and all the mounting hardware for the motherboard. They even included a screwdriver to help you! There's also thermal paste as well, so you don't need to buy any if you don't want to. I didn't have any issues installing it. Cooling performance is great.

Pretty impressed with this so far. Keeps the CPU at around 4C above ambient and roughly 40C at full load. All the while being whisper silent!
