Got a code D0 (late CPU initialization) on my first boot attempt. Reseated the CPU and that seems to have fixed it.

Everything was working great, but after downloading all the MSI utilities and drivers, PC is now shutting down completely when going into sleep mode. Trying to power back on results in an "early south bridge initialization" mobo error code. I have to turn the power supply off and on to get it booted again.

So... no using sleep mode for now! I tried reverting to the previous BIOS after updating, but that didn't fix it. Still trying to figure out what's causing the problem...

I was one of the lucky few to snag one of these when Amazon had a flash sale. I thought for $100, it wasn't that much more compared to the cheaper 1151 motherboards. It gives me a great path to upgrade for a K version i5 or i7 in the near future. Had absolutely no trouble installing Windows 10 on it.

I have not had any trouble with the bios. Easy update everything works as it should.

The red and black colour scheme suits me. The price suits its build and quality.

Do enable Win7 startup in BIOS if you want to install an older OS than Win8.1. If not, you will be stuck at 'Starting Windows' or installation menu screens.

If the mark of a good board is "booting on the first try" then these get a perfect score. Nice looking with decent documentation. The Bios menu is nice. 3 days in and no problems thus far.

This thing is great, haven't really got to dive into many of the features, for instance the M.2 Drive support, or the SLI support yet (My last mobo didn't offer that). But the pictures legitimately do not do this thing justice as far as looks, it is a very sharp looking Mobo.

Was going to go with the Asus board, but read about some problems. Had a problem with the realtek working, but I think that was a windows thing, but because after it downloaded an update or two it started working fine.
