Nothing to report that hasn’t been said before. I didn’t have the capital for a 1080ti model, and the online shop where I sourced the majority of these parts had. A few regular 1080’s for a reduced price. I’ve had an ASUS Strix 1080 in the past, but unfortunately that model was still a bit too much so this MSI choice seemed to fit the bill. No complaints here. It powers buttery smooth gameplay on my 1440p display at 144Hz. I would have liked to have seen a backplate on the unit, however.

Very happy with this card for the price I got it at. Looks great in a black and white build but could use a back plate.

I've been saving money ever since the GTX 780 came out and I really got interested in building a PC (about 4 years ago) and Pascal just seemed like the right time to spend the money I had saved.

If you have the budget for one, this card is king. I game at QHD and no game I own can slow this card down at max settings (Save for some of the crazy AA settings in certain recent AAA games). It runs circles around my old 960 SLI setup!

Can I rate it 6 stars instead?

Got this card used in Sept. 2017 and it has been nothing but great. It overclocks well at 2037 MHz and temps are good. Great 1080 card.

Pros: Its a 1080. I hate to be cliché but its a beast. Runs quiet and the color scheme is pretty classy.
Cons: Slow fan RPM. No back plate.

Good card, does everything I want it to and matches my build. Ultra settings on literally everything I've played so far. Stable OC @ 2100 Mhz

Literally no complaints with this card, it runs incredibly well and the MSI Afterburner software is easy to understand and configure. The lack of a backplate really doesn't matter, as it won't affect your performance in any way at all. The temps have not strayed above 70 whatsoever, and that is under significant stress. The fans do not start spinning until it goes above 60, making light gameplay and idle use absolutely quiet. It's a perfect card.
