from completed build Frideswyde 2024: The Old Warhorse
Good price, good size, good longevity, not a single complaint. Never figured out if there was supposed to be a meaningful difference between WD Black and WD Caviar Blue. They all run the same.
from completed build PS5 beater
The WD 1TB runs high speed transfers on a hard drive at 7200RPM and is great for storing some of my games running 3900x processor with 2080 super graphics.
+£81.92
from completed build The Red Dragon (2015)
Same as the other hard drive.
from completed build End-of-Year Upgrade (2021)
Carried over from my previous build. Originally got it in December 2014 and have never had issues with it.
from completed build Workstation PC
Just to store movies and shows. Nothing special.
from completed build Red and Gold
This was repurposed from my previous build. It does its job admirably.
from completed build First build/primary system
Good performance, though the 2 TB variant is more worth your money.
from completed build Black Tea Ship (RTX 3080 & Ryzen 5600X)
One of the only parts that followed me from my last build. What can I say? It's a very decent HDD for the money with 7200RPM.
