Keeps my APU cool.
A little large for a mini ITX board.
Quiet enough but not silent by far.
Very impressed by its silence. No noise at all atlow speed, so low at full speed that I can't hear it when my external hdd is on.
Almost silent on idle and makes little noise on highload
Really hard to fit cables in after mounting this cooler.
Great cooler with low noise and fits my mATX MOBO well. Difficult to find in Australia (I imported mine from Quiet PC in the UK). Swapped out the Intel Stock cooler on the i7-6700 for Scythe Big Shuriken 2 Reb B. Great improvement. CPU temp drop from 86 C to 61 C under load from PRIME95. A lot quieter under same load too from stock fan screaming at 2397 RPM to Scythe fan running at about 50% at 1024 RPM at max load. I like the down draft fan to keep MOBO components cool.
Only four stars because installation was horrible. Does a good job even in the small Milo case!
CPU Cooler: The Big Shuriken 2 is by far the best heatsink for the 12cm noctua fan. It has a lot of heatpipes and a very good dissipation surface. Another challenge here, I had to cut it a bit in order for the 44mm height ram to fit. The cpu fan is 1cm higher than the case.
Very silent low profile cooler, does a great job. Only reason it lost a star is the price in Canada was significantly higher than anywhere else in the world.
For a LP cooler, it performs very well in the ATX environment. Wanted a Hyper T4, was on back-order locally, went with this guy off the shelf... But the mounting on LGA sucks because the push pin style barely fits under the fins. Tight fingers won the day here... cept it weren't my fingers ;)
