    Great first monitor!

    Pros:

-Had this for over 10 months and haven't had any issues. Really like it, especially at this price point.

-Comes with speakers, which obviously aren't the best but work as a stopgap if you don't have any (like me)

-2ms response time, good for gaming

-Tilts forward and back, has a the adapter for a wall-mount on the back

Cons: -It's a TN panel and not an IPS panel, but still has almost 180 degree viewing angle from the top and side. Works better in a room without a lot of direct sunlight though.

-A lot of people complain about how hard the buttons are to press, but definitely not a dealbreaker. How often do you need to play with the buttons? You just have to be firm is all.

-Bezel and stand are made of cheap plastic, but it's not a dealbreaker at all and you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: Would definitely recommend this monitor, especially if you can get one on sale like I did for $115 (after rebate).

Would recommend playing around with the brightness and color settings to optimize it after you get it. It's factory settings are SUPER bright, especially in a dark room or at night.

The monitor isn't new, it rolled over from my last build, and it's nothing really that special. Just a 23" 60hz 1080p monitor. But I did pull the front panel off and give it a fresh new look so I feel like that's worth noting.

Great monitor for use with computer/xbox/playstation the HDMI port makes it easy and the speakers are good enough that you don't have to worry about lugging around external speakers if you are headed to a friends house.
