Amazing MOBO, The RGB software doesn't work but thats fine if you only need to colour red like me.

UPDATE. To make the RGB software function you need to run it in administrator mode.

I decided not to skimp out on the motherboard, even though I could have easily gotten a $70 board to just get by with, since I plan to OC I needed a board with good SOC voltage and heat sinks. The B450 line-up also makes life easier being 2000 series compatible and having a much better QVL list for ram. The bios are also very easy to navigate and use, especially for a first time builder. Additionally, the board has a nice black aesthetic to it, so that is always a plus. However, I do wish that it came with ac wifi, but that is the next step up in motherboards I guess with the MSI Carbon series. Sadly I was not able to get a deal below MSRP on this board since it is so new still.

This mother board has a lot off options. only a couple of compatibility issues but its with the rgb between the motherboard and ram that i have.

One of the best B450 for price, it comes with RGB Lighting, 6 USB Ports (Rear). 1 USB 3.1 Type A, 2 USB 3.0 Type A, 1 USB 3.1 Type C and 2 USB 2.0. There are also 6 internal USB ports, 2 3.0 Type A and 4 USB 2.0. 1 M.2 Slot, Raid Support and 6 SATA III ports.

The VRM's are great, (proof on Hardware Unboxed's video on B450 review). Nothing more to say about this board.

But if you want a better B450/Price get the B450 Mortar.

Good value for money, lots of fan headers (up to 5 case fans without needing a splitter), easy to use BIOS, and good OC capabilities. Would recommend as a viable mid-range B450 mobo.

Bios is very easy to navigate and use. Driver software is great and RGB lights are perfect. Looks greats - works great - no complaints

As a new builder it took a bit to get used to the BIOS, but once I did it was fairly intuitive. LEDs and Mystic Sync work well for lighting across the system, and for the price point it had everything I could want.

Simply put, great MOBO. The rgb backlight as well as the headers all work nicely in sync, and it looks very good in my case with that smooth metal finish. Had no problems building with it, the manual was very helpful in showing were the fan headers and everything else was, and it supports my build very well. The BIOS is easy to work with and in conclusion I have no complaints.

I should've gone with a slightly better board like the Pro Carbon, but this does its job and does everything I need it to do. The Mystic Light software is pretty bad though and I have this issue where the LED strips that are plugged into the motherboard end up shining in a different color to what the motherboard lights shine. Example being when the motherboard lights are red, the strips shine in green. There is no way for me to calibrate either. So I just keep those as white.
