Works very well. I was going to use this as my game drive but it ended up being my data drive instead.

Upfront, this drive is great. It does exactly what I need it to.

But hey—probably the main factor in drive choice is how long it'll last... we'll see!

They are what they are. I moved them over from another build and they are still chugging away.

Lots of room, fast read times, solid performance and exceptionally happy with this hard drive.

An ever-increasing game library and photo collection requires lots of storage space. Upgrading from an almost full 4TB drive, this is pretty much the only option for a gaming PC. The fact that it currently occupies the top spot on UserBenchmark is an added bonus.

I have no choice but to give a low score as the drive i ordered stopped posting after a few days. I tried swapping cables but it would seem it stopped communicating. It had power as I could feel it spinning up but it would not post. It had a slow death as one day it would post and then later that day it wouldn't, then it would again but finally it stopped all together. I returned it right away and I have a new one sitting on my desk but Im waiting to install it until i get my boot issue resolved on the motherboard bios. All reviews and indications are this is a very reliable drive, but I guess i'm lucky like that.

December 27th, I installed the replacement drive and included a brand new data cable. It posted right away however I still haven't resolved the boot issue with the motherboard. I fully expect this to be a solid reliable high performance sata drive for archival storage of project once all is worked out.
