Probably the best inbetweener motherboard out right now (when I mean inbetweener, I mean in between medium/average grade MOBS and Top of the line MOBS) Has everything you need, providing you ample enough space for all your components. Only down star is that I would love for a MOBS to come out around this price range with wifi AC capabilities.

Wanted to get the ASUS Z97A but unfortunately it was out of stock. The 3.1 version was only $10 more so I decided why not go for it. The AI Suite 3 makes it easy for OC and fan control through the mobo.

USB 3.1/m.2 capable (futureproofing again) version of a popular Z97 board. Much sexier in person. Returned because I blamed it for the issues of a faulty power supply, and got back one that looked like the same thing happened to somebody else! The chipset looked like it took a little abuse. Working like a champ though, nice UEFI/BIOS.

Great UEFI Bios for beginner OC.

Has all the features anybody would want on a motherboard. SLI, Crossfire, and a great bios for overclocking.
