This is the logical sequel to Windows 7. Windows 8 is like a sequel to Windows ME. The only negatives are always the privacy concerns... So don't be a sheep and just click the automatic setup. It let's you turn off all those intrusive privacy settings if you want.

I didn't want to buy it but the corner annoyed me

It's Windows, so just win7 with shiny things. Cortana is about as good as Siri, who's pretty much only for marketing.

tomtomj2 18 points 32 months ago

I like it, has the functionality of Windows 7 with the look of Windows 8. No problems with the NSA or Microsoft spying on me. :P

Best of windows OS.

It is an OS......nothing much to say. Took off a star because I think $100 is a lot, and there isn't as much privacy anymore.

Got the free update from Windows 8.1 and never regretted it. Windows 10 is just like 7, only better.

i do not regret getting the full version in any way, being able to transfer between motherboards really helped with my latest upgrade.

as for windows 10 itself, i actually prefer it over windows 7 because it supports MUCH more ram and directx 12, and that multiple desktop feature is pretty handy

wish it would play dvds by default but honestly i would probably just use vlc player regardless...

Windows 10 is easy to use, and works great! And with the full retail version, you can transfer your key to a new mobo!
