Picked this up for $50, pretty decent. Still working well 3 years later and keeps good temps. No complaints.

Ol' Reliable. Have had this HDD for almost 10 years and it still runs as my backup drive.

Hard drives still have some purpose in 2024. As of now, SSDS have increased in price, this isn't a bad option.

Had this hard drive since 2017. I used to use it to store programs but now I just use it as a backup drive. I rather hold everything else on an SSD but this works for what I need it for.

Cheap storage for random files and documents.

Originally purchased as a "games" drive, it quickly became obsolete for that purpose. It serves today as a network-accessible storage drive, and does it well. Not bad after a decade of medium-heavy usage.

I've trying to move away from SATA storage and especially hard drives for a while, but it's hard to discount the rock solid performance and lifespan of a good WD_Blue.

Good capacity, no complaints. Got mine out of an old prebuilt so I'm not aware of the cost per GB.
