Very good motherboard. I had a hard time finding something under $100 on the new Kaby Lake chipset but I am very happy with this board.
Decent layout for a cheap board. Dies what it should. The red LED under the board were nice and fit my theme. The little EZ diagnostic light is also nice.
Sexy bios and looks great for $85. MSI makes a mean motherboard.
Solid board with a decent feature set and really good software at a great price.
Downside is there are only two DIMM slots, I bought 16 GB and I'm an MSI fan so I can live with it.
Controllable Red LEDs on the underside of each corner, M.2 slot, Reinforced PCIe slot, nice looking Red design. And did i say it comes with a free mouse? The manual is very informative, the box comes with 2 SATA cables. If there is one criticism it’s that the red text labels next to headers on the board is very hard to read so lots of reference to the manual is needed.
Works with Kaby Lake right out of the box which is what I wanted. Wish it would've had 4 ram slots, if I got 8gb of ram I was going to upgrade in the future but i got a good deal on Craigslist for 16gb of ram so i wont have to do that.
Everything I need for this build and more, came with free gaming Mouse aswell.
Its a great option for mid range pc's that don't sport an unlocked CPU, has an easy to use bios, overall its been great for me
Not very feature-packed, but I got it for $60 and it has everything I need. (Not planning to OC or SLI/Crossfire)
3 fan headers (1 CPU + 2 SYS)
2 RAM Slots
1 PCI-E x16, 2 x1
Has both on-board USB 2.0 and 3.0 headers
Has ambient red lighting
It has a tacky & low quality (pixelated/blurry) MSI logo screen on boot. Otherwise it's fine.
