My first m2 and first NVMe. Blazing fast but a little concerned about heat, currently idling at 50c which appears about norm, I’ve just never had to factor in HDD heat before

Really fast load times on boot are like 2-5 seconds. Everything I put on it loads up fast including games. I wanted this so I can load premier files fast and it does just that.

No complains at the performance, not at all! The price is really high comparing to some of its peers. Without a good deal I probably would not consider it. Another issue is the high temperature. Under load it can reach 70C easily. In average it stays art around 50C. I added a heatsink for it still not very helpful.

Boots in less than 10 seconds. Instant wake-up from sleep. I couldn't use the Samsung software to migrate data because the software wouldn't recognize anything save for an external SSD. I used Macrium to migrate data and it worked flawlessly.

Fast, like really fast. Compared to a standard SSD even. I have a boot time of 8.9 seconds, which for me is great considering the high usage programs I have on start up. I am sure there are better products out there for its price.

One thing to note, it runs a little hot. My motherboard has a M.2 heat sink, I have wondered how much that helps but haven't investigated.

I replaced my media storage HDD with this drive and obviously, the increase in speed is astonishing. Loading times in games are barely existent anymore but that comes at a pretty high price. I probably wouldn't recommend this drive for games only but if you do a lot of video editing and more demanding workloads, in general, the speed will make up for the price eventually.
