If it was about $50 less It'd be a good buy, but Coffee Lake (Z370) boards are for some strange reason about that much more expensive than the (same?) Z270 counterpart...

BIOS is easy to navigate, lots of options, installing Windows was easy-peasy. It has a whacky 3.1 gen 2 connector that is useless to me right now but will probably have support in the future. Wish it had a second 2.0 header though, other than that it looks good, works great and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a coffee lake MINI ITX board. CONS: NZXT Kraken X52 and the rest of the series have to be installed upside down or they completely block the ram. Very small clearance between the ram and the CPU.

z370-i Thoughts

It was a bit of a pain getting everything setup with all the software and what not and asus lack of instructions on how a lot of their features work. Sonic radar sadly does not work with any usb auido so if you ar a fan of headsets find good pair with 2.5. Ill get asus headset for my birthday and come back with more info on sonic radar i will say it led to my first ever PUBG win so its good if you can get it to work and set up right. Dont get this mobo just for sonic radar unless you got deep pockets.

An easy to run and overclock MoBo. RAID 0 array was easily configured by the BIOS. WiFi antena looks and works great. Be carefull installing the bloatware software that comes with it. RGB is fixed on a plain bluish white because I’m not a big fan of rainbow RGB modes

Plenty of ports available, and with two slots for NVMe SSDs. One of them came with a metal heatsink slot. Overclocking the processor is as easy as one can get with the software that came with the mobo.

Despite reading a few bad comments about this board when I picked it up, I have had zero problems and everything worked superbly out of the box with simple OC tweaking and memory settings. Great motherboard with great aesthetics.

Great Mini ITX motherboard, only issue is that the RGB header on the motherboard is 3-pin rather than 4-pin, making it difficult to find RGB strips that work with the case.

Great layout for my ITX case (Ncase). Dual M.2! Only issue I have is with Asus Aura resetting my RGB configs

If you go with the i7-8700K, you'll need a 300 series MB. The LED lights were a nice surprise. Make sure you install the AURA app to turn them on/off, and to select different effects.

Easy choice because of two M.2 slots with one in the front. Other mobos afaik only have one M.2 which is in the back and it apparently runs very hot in dan case because of how it's sandwiched between the mobo and the GPU with no airflow. It still runs relatively warm in the front port but no issue so far.
