Found this open box at microcenter for $160...I grabbed it like it was a crime. I cant imagine another card being better for $160. I will not be buying a monitor and I use this PC on my 1080p TV so 4k gaming is not a dream of mine. And in the future If i have $1000 for a 4k tv im sure I could afford another $300 for a GPU...but I have played Battlefield and Call of Duty on this card so far at mostly utlra settings and have not had a hiccup or any issues. Usally hovering around 50-70 fps. Nice.

Nice card for the price, I would have liked to of gotten something a little better like a 980 but I needed to keep the budget in hand. I am sure there are better cards out there but I was familiar with this one and it did well for me in the past.

I love this thing! It plays most games in 1080p at max settings. It does struggle with some of the newer titles at full settings in 1080p, however. One of the great things about this is that when not under load, it totally shuts off its fans to be passively cooled, and even when under full load, it is very quiet, and runs rather cool.

Actually quite a nice graphics card for the price. The already overclocked part was a nice addition. It performs much better than I expected it would! Also only requires a single 8 pin connection which was a nice surprise(I was expecting more).

Great video card here. Very pleased with the performance of this $200 card. At times I see it overclock to 1455mhz clock. Plays all my games without a hiccup. Thanks EVGA for including the stickers, I colored mines to match the build ;)

Great for the price, but I find myself wishing I'd gone for the 970 or at least the 4GB version of the 960 because the 2GB VRAM version has begun to show its age with this past years release AAA games.

from completed build GTX-960 FTW Budget Build, My First Build (Relic from 2015)
I chose this graphics card using choosemypc.net and imputing my budget. I don't know the site is up-to-date anymore, but I was happy with the advice at the time.
The graphics card was very good for the price. It can run Metal Gear Solid V and Skyrim (with an absurd amount of resolution and texture mods) at 60 fps with settings at high on almost everything, and it can run GTAV pretty good settings with 45-60 fps. The only game I've had issues running at high settings is Mass Effect Andromeda, but that game is two years newer than the others, and this card was mid-tier when I bought it, so that is understandable.
It comes with DisplayPort, DVI, and HDMI ports, so it should work with pretty much all monitors.
The only thing I don't like is that the GeForce Experience (the Nvidia driver manager) now forces you to log in to use it, but it's not that bad. Also, it keeps the drivers updated and can set some games to the optimal settings the card can handle, which is very handy. Plus you can update the drivers manually if you really don't want to log in.
It's a bit old at this point so I don't think I'd recommend someone get this card nowadays, but it did the trick when I got it and I figure I can get a couple more years out of it.
I got this video card for $216.99 on NCIX.com in Aug of 2015. It came with a key for Metal Gear Solid V.

A great graphics card especially for SLI for the price, you could also get the 980 but where is the fun in that? Other than the great look of having the SLI Bridge and the two cards, the functionality is great for the current graphics out there.
