These 900 series from NVIDA are great. Obviously its no 980 but it can handle 1080p gaming no problem. Very quiet opperation with its silent fan technology. Idle temp is around 40c (fans off) with a load at about 49c (fans on). With the backplate, this card also looks great. EVGA has a pretty good stock cooler for this series.

from completed build FS2015 Build - First Time Builder

Not the highest end card, but it is still very capable at 1080p! Chose it over the R9 380 due to its lower power consumption, lower heat output, the software, and the deal I got on it. My plan is to upgrade to Pascal or Polaris when I need to.

This card looks great, and I love how the fans don't turn on until 50 degrees. Quiet card, and it hasn't let me down.

from completed build I mean, it exists (updated)

Solid 1080P card. Would easily recommend it.

Now on the flipside of the motherboard, the graphics card is the other thing people might talk about on this build. However, I don't game on the latest titles, and my 960 has held up admirably - Batman Arkham Origins runs at 40FPS at 4K with AA disabled and a custom medium/high settings blend. Certainly not "PC gamer master race" worthy but respectable for just over $175. This would be the first major upgrade when I have the budget though - GTX 980 or 980 Ti? Maybe a second 960 for SLI? Yet to decide - probably going to wait for Pascal architecture, that's looking like a really good option right now. Also, I'm looking at getting a Quadro or FirePro to go along with it, which will greatly accelerate the 3D CAD capability of the machine. Thoughts on one for $300-500?

Not bad for what it is, just don't buy it for more than $100 USD, or at least get the 4GB version. Its large size may prevent you from upgrading into smaller cases. Definitely buy a Pascal or Polaris card if you can.

And who's the moron at EVGA's marketing team who came up with "Super Super-Clocked"?

What can I say about this silent beast? Not only does it provide more than enough power for my gaming needs, it also saves me power and does not heat up. It has an ACX 2.0 cooling which allows for energy saving and only turns on the fans when needed. For the price, I really love this GFX card and how it performs when I'm working or gaming.

from completed build I shall call him... Bob!

It's a hungry beast, that munches through 1080p gaming, silently, like no there is no tomorrow! And it doesn't use much power!

Great card. Works perfectly and the fans don't run unless it's under load. I got it for a lot cheaper than msrp because this was a "factory refurbished" version by EVGA. The disclaimer said it might have light dents or scratches, but it looks brand new to me! Since I got it refurbished it did not come with drivers or any power/video cables.

    from completed build Project "Noder"

Card is fast, quiet and comes with a 5 year warranty for an extra 12 euro. Also got Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain with the card.
